Inpatient treatment I discovered that a major drive to drink was grief, guilt and shame for breaking my promise to my Mother to do her funeral. I was too ill to do it. So, it was suggested that I perform a Mock Funeral for my Mother. I did this and it was very healing with a huge burden lifted. Also, my drive to drink was decreased. Try not to critique the "art" and me expressing emotions, hurts, habits and hangups. This has been great therapy for me to express and show and the healing in those area's expressed.
